We’re 2/3 of the way through another fabulous year at Robbins Hebrew Academy and I just want to touch base with everybody about our progress
As you know, last year, we decided to amalgamate out Bayview Campus into one strong school at our Bathurst site and that has proven to be a very successful decision. Our enrollment is firm, our financial status is strong and our educational goals and achievements are greater than ever and being met on a daily basis.
We continue to pursue our goal to be the first Hebrew Day School in Toronto with the coveted accreditation from CAIS, the Canadian Accredited Independent Schools. Our official accreditation visit has been scheduled for February 2015. We are looking forward to showcasing our school and Academic Curriculum.
We were very honored by the invitation for me to be a part of Prime Minister Harper’s delegation to Israel. This was a wonderful beginning to our annual trip to Israel to interview the Shin Shinim (Young Emissaries from Israel) for the coming year.
The fact that Robbins Hebrew Academy was included in that delegation speaks highly of our place not only in the Toronto Jewish community, but in the greater Canadian Jewish community. Our school is highly esteemed across our country as a successful, cutting edge educational institution that provides not only the best integrated Jewish and General Studies education, but also a focus on community.
We are proud to be going full tilt into our second 50 years and we look forward to celebrating Robbins Hebrew Academy’s graduating class in June.
