"I participated in the Chidon Ha-Tanach (Bible Contest) during each of my three years of RHA Middle School and it was something that I really enjoyed. The contest took a lot of work, but I was happy to be doing it with my friends and lucky to be coached by Giveret Eilath who made it fun. Being part of the Bible Contest was a special time at RHA (and it meant two trips to Montreal with my classmates!) Winning first place felt so great because all the hard work paid off. My sister, Maya, also made it to the national level of the competition and my cousin, Claire Lipton, came in third!" Middle School Hydraulics Pneumatics and Toys: The "buyers" from the international toy company were impressed by the amazing innovation from students who built toys that work on hydraulics and pneumatics. That included a lot of speeding cars, flying ping-pong balls and games that lift, spin and propel. Ellie Joseph Wins Canada's Bible Contest Bridge Building: Grade 7 students studied suspension, tension, the force of gravity, and explored form versus function in bridge design before entering the annual Bridge Building Competition. Robotics: In grade 6, students learn to program their robots to navigate the area of a triangle drawn on paper as part of their STEM mini-challenge. STEM at RHA
