Portraits of RHA Graduates
They are the brainchild of
Anton Rabie and his partners,
Ronnen Hararay and Ben Varadi
at Spin Master, a Canadian toy and
entertainment company that the
partners founded in 1994. Many of
Spin Master's products have become
worldwide sensations, earning
Rabie and his co-founders a slew of
accolades including the prestigious
Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the
Year Award. Rabie and his partners
have been featured as Top 40 Under
40 Executives for their achievements
in the global marketplace.
Anton attributes much of his
success to the leadership and critical
thinking skills that he learned early
in elementary school. When it comes
to coaching his staff, his mission has
been to make people "comfortable
with the uncomfortable."
Clearly, the strategy has worked. In
2015, Spin Master became a public
company with 1,500 employees and
annual sales exceeding $300 million.
It continues to grow exponentially,
and Anton is now establishing

We asked Rabie what he would say
to RHA's future leaders, both as an
alumnus and as a success story.
"Most importantly," says Rabie,"start
cultivating those kinds of skills early
on. Whether it's in the classroom or
outside it, innovation is really your
curiosity coming to life."

just ask your kids.
"I would say that creation is all
about imagination, persistence
and taking risks. It's having
a good idea and going for it.
Look for something that hasn't
been done before, and then
make sure you continue to
do it better."
