Let kids learn how fun Hebrew day school can be at RHA

21 2017–2018 RHA's Debate Team Finishes Big Our 2017–18 Debate Team consisted of 16 enthusiastic middle school debaters, led by captains Zoe Zusman and Joseph Berman. We trained hard mastering our advocacy skills and enjoyed some laughs along the way. To top off the season, our group competed in the annual Jewish Day Schools Debate Tournament, in which two of our four teams were undefeated, and Simone and Rebecca Halpern placed third overall among 28 teams from seven schools. Last year we also held an in-house tournament to give our rookies a chance at a real competition in front of an audience of their middle school peers. Junior Hockey Gold! The Junior hockey team was determined from the get-go to win the 1st place trophy. The dream was realized, when the team, comprised of 15 students from grades 3–5, won the 1st place trophy in last year's Yitzhak Rabin Memorial Tournament. Junior Girls Soccer Gold! RHA won the first place trophy in the junior girls soccer tournament. The final game was a nail bitter, with the score going back and forth, with 3 overtimes! The junior boys' team played hard, and placed 3rd overall. Junior Softball Gold! The junior co-ed softball team, comprised of 17 girls and boys from grades 4-5 won first place in the junior soccer tournament. Going into the tournament, the team had only one win in the regular season, but was undefeated in the tournament. Fall Cross Country Running RHA had 50 runners participate in the Fall Run last year.
