Students on RHA's Debate Team
learn the art and science of advocacy
and rebuttal, and hone their
presentation skills to compete in an
annual tournament. RHA has a proud
debating legacy: our students
take home gold
year after year.

The International Caribou Mathematics
Competition is held six times throughout
the school year and culminates in the
Caribou Cup. Open to grades 3 through

placing among the world's top 2 per

In grades 6-8, students are able to
participate in Canada's Bible Contest,
a competition that invites students to
immerse themselves in the Tanakh. Each
year, RHA sends about 15 eager students
to Regionals. Our track record is pristine:
100% of our students consistently advance
to Nationals, where they are always
among the top finishers. RHA grad
Zoe Zusman took first place in her time at
RHA.

Students are challenged to capture
movement in sculpture. First they
study examples of sculpture – from
classical Greek to abstract to surreal.
Then they create a wire figure based
on proportions of the human body
to test the movements they want to
reproduce. And finally, they create
three-dimensional figures.
Movement
sculpturing
builds not just
aesthetic ability;
students also
apply physics,
design thinking,
problem solving
and innovation.
