SYNAGOGUE
It is no small thing to have
a school connected to a
synagogue. We pray, sing and
celebrate milestones amidst
stained-glass windows and
surrounded by the meaningful
symbols of Jewish life.
ALL ABOUT ME
We ask our JK students some
critical questions: What makes
me who I am? What do I know?
What do I like? Through art,
language, science and Judaics,
our little ones explore what's
special about each of them,
and document their answers by
creating an artifact box, a framed
picture and a self-portrait.
DETERMINATION ON ICE
For ten weeks in a row, our students
lace up their skates and hit the ice.
Kids not only learn a new skill and get
exercise, they build agility,
co-ordination and perseverance. What's
more, it's a great way of teaching kids
how to get right back up after a fall.
