12 A PHYSICAL SPACE THAT EQUALS OUR ACADEMICS RHA is known for its academic rigor and the strength of our community. An RHA education is about learning to solve real-world complex problems and acquiring the mindset and confidence to feel ready for anything that comes our students' way. We are at the forefront of the latest educational research-based advancements and are in the midst of building a state-of-the-art facility to match our cutting-edge academics. Our Early Years classrooms are setting a new standard for early childhood education. We are proud to have been awarded the prestigious L.B. Daniels Award from the Critical Thinking Consortium for instituting "thinking classrooms" throughout the school. Students are thriving in our spaces including the Imaginarium, a dynamic hub of innovation that inspires critical, digital and design thinking, engages creative making and problem-solving, and motivates collaborative learning. RHA is on the path to transforming our physical spaces to complement our 21st century education. Continuous renovations are in progress. We are in the process of creating an innovative and unique academy of learning that further enriches the personalized learning experiences for our students. Inventive and functional learning spaces include: • New Classrooms — Bright, modern learning spaces that provide flexibility for interdisciplinary learning, whole-group teaching and small-group work. • Learning Commons — Supporting students in learning how to research and use information purposefully. This space provides an environment for students to seek out quiet time, collaborate and study. It includes areas that integrate digital education, content creation and design thinking.
