ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
GRADES 1 TO 5
Our Early Years graduates are mini-
mensches who are well-prepared to
take on an advanced curriculum that is
rooted in the six core competencies that
educational experts have identified as
predictors of lifelong success.
The first is Critical Thinking. We teach
students how to review and analyze
information, draw conclusions, form and
defend an opinion with data to back it
up, reflect on their work and approach
problems in a systematic way.
We teach students the art of Communication, the ability to present
their thinking in a concise and compelling way to effectively bring their
vision and ideas to life.
We teach students how to Collaborate, because while independent
thinking is important, the ability to work with others, absorb diverse
viewpoints and make meaningful connections is imperative in our
connected world.
We instill globally-minded thinking, because the world is too
interdependent for narrow points of view. Being a true Global Citizen
with emotional intelligence allows our students to look at issues from a
multi-dimensional perspective, and to always be mindful of the social,
political and environmental impact of decision-making.
