32 GRADE EIGHT THE REFLECTION PROJECT Our soon-to-be graduates showcase their experience at RHA. The personal results are truly meaningful. Each student creates a still-life composition, which responds to the questions: • What are the meaningful artifacts from my time at RHA? • What best reflects my journey and shapes my identity as a Jew, RHA student and global citizen? TIKKUN OLAM — REPAIRING THE WORLD Our Middle School students play a hands-on role with our community food drives and partner with local food banks. Students learn about the impact of food insecurity on individuals and families and build a campaign to bring awareness to encourage their peers to support such important causes. Food is collected, sorted and packed as part of their commitment to Tikkun Olam. TOY TIME Students are tasked to build toys that work on hydraulics and pneumatics and then present their innovation to "buyers" from an international toy company. Students get to design some amazing interactive toys and develop comprehensive real-world marketing. NATIONAL BIBLE CONTEST Open to students from Grades 6 to 8, the Canadian National Bible Contest — Chidon Canada — is a competition that invites students to immerse themselves in the Tanakh. To prepare, students learn together with our expert faculty members. Our track record is extraordinary with most of our students consistently advancing to Nationals and placing among the top finishers.
