SPORTS
Research shows the profound benefits of physical education in
school. Not only does it help develop motor skills and muscles,
it also promotes academic learning, critical thinking, builds self-
esteem, fosters self-discipline, collaboration, communication
and teaches good sportsmanship.
RHA students participate in in-school and Jewish Day School
Sports League (JDSSL) sport teams and competitions including
hockey, basketball, ultimate frisbee, volleyball, softball, flag
football and track. RHA teams are inclusive, fun and can offer
competitive play for those interested in pursuing a medal.
Sports at RHA means working in teams and devising
strategies. It means perseverance and problem-solving.
It means learning to play hard and fair. It means lessons
for the body, brain and for life.
Our bodies are
made to move!
