Infinitely dedicated, insanely creative, Sharlene turns the mundane to the magical: family fun days, school-wide BBQs, graduation events, fundraisers, galas – under Sharlene's direction, they became the glue of RHA's warm and loving community. With never-ending energy, Sharlene served as the president of the Parents' Association for three years running. She spearheaded countless committees and took on project after project – all with a whole heart and a big laugh. It was rare to see a day go by without seeing Sharlene somewhere doing something, with unwavering attention to every detail and making sure every student, staff member, parent and guest felt included and valued. Sharlene, for everything you've done for RHA, we can never thank you enough. "Mrs. Traister is the world's best teacher." The ratings don't get better than that. For the past 17 years, Carole Traister has made each one of her students feel like they are one in a million – a real 'star student'. With her passion, her humor, and with a smile on her face every day, Mrs. Traister makes her classroom a warm and a fun place to be. She inspires students to work their hardest and try their best because, as she puts it, they are 'her kids.' She engages them, she nurtures them and she teaches them. The impact lasts a lifetime. Students well into their work lives still come back to see Mrs. Traister just to say hi – and thanks. Hana MacMull The teacher who truly loves students – the teacher who truly loves the heritage and the scholarship – this is the teacher who instills a lasting love of learning. Hana Macmull is that teacher. There is not a challenge Hana doesn't passionately embrace – even (and especially) the overwhelming ones. Because of it, her students embrace every challenge as well. Hana's middle-school classroom is a hive of intelligent and passionate inquiry in both Bible studies and Israeli current events. And most importantly – Hana's classroom is a place students want to be. Hana: for the scholarship, for the passion and for the joy you brings every day to RHA, this honour is for you. n i n e Carole Traister Hana MacMull Sharlene Wilder
