Great Students Come from a Great Community Keren Landau Resource Teacher Keren teaches RHA students how to persevere to be successful at whatever task they are undertaking. She has taught many different grades and has also been a Resource Teacher. Keren is an inspiring Judaic Studies teacher for Grade 1 students, which is a challenge she took on with characteristic determination this year. She has created a hub of learning with this age group, teaching with care, collaboration and by pushing the students to achieve their best. The resilience students learn with Keren teaches them that they can undertake anything to which they set their minds. Nella Koren Music Program Music is integral to many of the ceremonies and celebrations that take place at RHA. Nella Koren brings song into hearts and classrooms at RHA. Nella has been teaching music at RHA since 1993. Her instruction and guidance is present at every RHA ceremony – and she was even asked to lead the choir at the Ontario Legislature. She teaches by bringing out each student's innate talents with instruments, percussion and voice. Nella truly lights up our school with beautiful, inspired music. She enriches both our General and Judaic Studies Programs. Jason Stern Elementary School Jason's measured voice and focus on the integrity of his students has earned him accolades from students. Jason has educated both high school and elementary school students. Currently a Grade 4 teacher, he builds relationships with students and helps nurture them to be their best selves. Some of the unique things he has introduced in his class at RHA include technology, design thinking and differentiated instruction. Jason also works with his class on a variety of mindfulness techniques.
