GRADE EIGHT
B U D D Y D A Y S
There is a lot of high-fiving in the halls of
RHA. Our students know each other well,
largely because of our Buddy Program.
Bigger buddies read to the little ones. They
march with them through the streets on
Yom Ha'Atzmaut. They celebrate together
on special buddy days. The program
creates a nurturing environment for the
younger children, and
instills leadership
and compassion
in our older
students.

In their annual showcase,
grade 8 students present the
plant and animal cells they
created using edibles such
as watermelon, candy and
chocolate chips. Who knew
learning STEM could be so
sweet?

The Goodbye Project
At the end of their last year,
each student creates a still-life
composition in response to the
question: "How can I use objects
to tell the story of my time at
RHA and to reflect how it
shaped my identity?"
