Start spreading the news! Each year, our eighth graders take a five-day trip
to New York City. They visit attractions like the Museum of National History,
Temple Emanuel, Radio City Music Hall, Central Park and the Top of the Rock.
They get an insider look at the Google offices. It's a time for our graduates
to celebrate their years together, to learn even more about the world around
them and to dream about their future.

The "buyers" from the
international toy company
are impressed. What they see
is some amazing innovation
from students who have
worked for weeks to build a
toy that works on hydraulics
and pneumatics. That usually
includes a lot of speeding
cars, flying ping-
pong balls
and games
that lift,
spin and
propel.

Many of the activities at RHA are led by
our grade 8 Student Council. Peer-elected
after a hard-fought campaign, our co-
presidents, treasurer and secretary work
with class representatives from grades 6, 7
and 8. The goal is simple: to innovate and
to lead.
