Jason Stern, Elementary, General Studies Having taught in the United Kingdom and Tanzania, Jason brings a global perspective to his classroom through multi-dimensional inquiry, design thinking and a particular focus on technology. Hageet Elimelech, Elementary, Judaic Studies During her 26 years at RHA, Hageet has inspired students to embrace Hebrew language and Jewish tradition by accommodating the different learning styles of each of them. As she gives kids the skills they need to succeed, she never forgets the role that creative freedom plays in motivating students to learn more and more deeply. Elizabeth Cooper, Middle School, General Studies Based on her work with Beit Yatziv in Israel – a leading educational centre and a partner of Ben Gurion University – Elizabeth develops innovative approaches to integrating coding and robotics into science and math curriculum. Donnie Friedman, Middle School, General Studies Joining RHA fresh out of grad school, our beloved Donnie Friedman is legendary for instilling a love of literature and language in hundreds of our students. Donnie is a writer, editor and co-author of a Jewish Canadian history textbook and is coach to RHA's award-winning debate team. Orna Gabay, Middle School, Judaic Studies Orna is pioneering RHA's new approach to Rabbinics. Working with the William Davidson Graduate School in New York City, she is devising novel methods to keep students passionate Jewish learners. Marla Kizner, Physical Education Marla's approach to our unique DPA (Daily Physical Activity) program – which promotes emotional as well as physical well-being – has created a culture of health at RHA. She consistently leads many of our sports teams to top place finishes.
