JEWISH STUDIES
Students develop a love of Tanakh and embrace
it as an inspiring and multi-vocal text, informing
their values, moral commitments and ways
of experiencing the world. Students learn to
appreciate the complex history of the Jewish
people and the land of Israel. They see themselves
as a link between the past and the present in the
ongoing chain of interpretation.
We apply the lessons of the past to the challenges
of today. We empower each of our students to
discover their own unique Jewish identity.
Our unwavering commitment to tikkun olam is
woven throughout the curriculum and holidays as
students discover the role they play in repairing
the world and making our local and global
communities a better place.
We build
global citizens
one parsha
at a time.
