As a past President of the Canadian Association of Independent Schools (CAIS), Claire is also an expert at special needs and enriched programming. Shayla Morrison, Director of Student Life and Academic Affairs A veteran teacher in inner city and private schools, Shayla oversees elementary school curriculum and develops groundbreaking programs like our Character Education Initiative. She is expert in the Three-Minute Walkthrough, a revolutionary teacher- evaluation approach that cultivates best-teaching practices and student engagement. Silvia Eilath, Chair of Judaic Studies There is simply no one better at bringing the love of Judaics to her students. For the past 35 years, Silva has developed quality standards at the Jewish Board of Education. As RHA's Chair of Judaic Studies, Silvia mentors teachers in Jewish learning and coaches our award-winning National Bible Contest students. Brett Copeland, Director of Middle School Brett's specialized training in learning strategies, curriculum development and guidance enables him to apply differentiated learning practices in the classroom. His experience in writing ninth grade curriculum qualifies him to prepare Middle School students for high school. Jodi Goldstein, Director of Early Learning and Student Affairs Jodi not only has her Principal's qualifications, but she is currently completing a Master's degree in educational psychology at OISE. Jodi has transformed RHA's Early Years by instituting a Reggio Emilia-inspired program – the world's leading approach to early childhood education. Fern Suckonic, Team Leader of Resource For the past 15 years, Fern has made sure that teachers think outside the box for the kids who learn outside the box. Trained by the Critical Thinking Consortium at Simon Fraser University, she has been instrumental in helping teachers build differentiated unit plans to meet the needs of diverse students. Jenny Reineck, Technology Integration Specialist With certifications from Code.org, Google and Athabasca University, Jenny Reineck develops coding curriculum that integrates critical thinking and design thinking. She brings robotics, virtual reality and technology to life in our Imaginarium - an incubator for innovation and creativity.
