Junior Kindergarten offers two classes with a teacher-to-student ratio
of 1:12. Here, the children are gently introduced to language and
numeracy, STEM, physical activity and health, Hebrew language, Israeli
music and the arts. We celebrate Jewish life, holidays and prayer.
" Right from the start, my kids learned about creativity and deep thinking.
RHA has become our second family. I just can't imagine a more
welcoming and supportive community."
–Daliah Bar-Dayan, RHA parent
* JK students are age four by December 31 of the school year.
WOODS WEDNESDAYS
Kids and parents are in love with Woods
Wednesdays! Every week, rain or
shine, JK students walk to Cedarvale
Ravine to explore their natural
environment and ask all their
fascinating questions: What makes
dirt into mud? Why do puddles
evaporate? Why do leaves grow
on trees one month and fall off the
next? As the wonders of nature reveal
themselves, our little students learn to
appreciate the world around them. They
discover how to explore safely. And they
begin to understand what it means to become
responsible stewards of the earth. During Sukkot, the children learn
how the Jews navigated the land to survive and thrive.
